Its full tang construction, premium SAE 1070 high carbon steel, and balanced profile deliver exceptional cutting performance, durability, and long-lasting edge retention. Finished with a professional black phosphated coating, the blade offers improved corrosion resistance while preserving the character and cutting performance of traditional carbon steel.

Available with premium Ñandubay hardwood handles in either a natural satin finish or a black phosphated version, every C1021 is individually handcrafted in Argentina, making each knife a unique piece of craftsmanship.

# Black Phosphated Finish
The black phosphated finish chemically bonds to the surface of the steel, increasing corrosion resistance while creating a durable matte appearance. Unlike painted coatings, the treatment becomes part of the steel itself, preserving the blade’s performance and giving it a distinctive rugged look. As with any high carbon steel knife, drying after use and applying a light coat of oil occasionally will help maintain its appearance.
